Scripture - John 21:15-17 Jesus asked Peter three times,"Do you love me?" Peter said yes every time and even said that Jesus knows everything, thus He knows that Peter loves Him. Evey time that Peter answered that he loves Jesus, He gave him a command. Jesus told Peter; Verse 15 "Feed My lambs." Verse 16 "Take care of My sheep." Verse 17 "Feed My sheep." If we say 'yes' to Jesus that we love Him, then we shall listen to what He tells us to do. He said that we should love one another so that the world shall know that we are His disciples. We should also listen because He still speaks to us through His Holy Spirit. All the things that He tells us to do, is for our best, but also for the advancement of the Kingdom of God. As Christians, we are to obey Jesus, because He obeyed His Father and all that mattered was that His Father be glorified. We too should seek to glorify our Father in heaven. By obeying the commands of Jesus, we glorify the Father. Let us not just say we love Him, let us live a life that shows that we love our Lord. Blessings in the Name of Jesus.

I've been a willing christian for the last 10 years, and I have been waiting for that "Jesus has spoken to me" moment. But I wonder if perhaps being spoken to by Jesus is not a mighty revelation moment but perhaps a gentle pursuasive moment? perhaps a gradual awakening, so gradual that it feels like our own idea? I have a friend who says he is always being touched by the Holy Spirit and at times I am jealous and sometimes doubtful about his claims...could Jesus be at work in my life without me realising?

I know how you feel. For a long time after I became a Christian did I think that the Lord does not speak to me and that I was not fillied with the Holy Spirit. I was also jealous when I hear of other people's experiences. Even though I felt that way, I knew that I believed in God and nothing can take that away from me. I decided that wether He talks to me or not, I will still believe in Him and follow Him. I just learned more about Him and spend time reading Bible and praying, attending church and I grew spiritualy. Before long I started to realise that the Lord is speaking to me. Not any loud voices, but that still small voice. At first I thought it might be just my own thoughts but later realised that it was the Lord speaking to me. Just keep the faith, stay near to Him and pray for descernment to know when He is speaking. You will hear from Him because He is a God of relationships. May you be blessed with a special touch from our Lord and Saviour.

Why Jesus ask to Peter until three times? I Think it's not caused by that He is not trust to Peter, but caused by that He is worry to us. He is worry about this age, this era. I Think Satan is better then us right now, because they still believe that God is there, but most modern people are not.

Jesus asked Peter three times so that Peter can confirm for himself that he realy does love his Lord. satan is not better than us, we just give him opportunities to use against us to let us sin. We can overcome satan by being obedient to God. Read James 4:7 "Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." This is a promise that if we submit to God, and resist the devil, he will flee. Blessings
