Do you worry about maximum exposure for your question?

Finding a good category for some questions seems tough. Of course there is always this MyLot.com and the Q&A categories that are nearly "catch-alls", but do you ever worry that you are not reaching a large enough audience for your question based on category?
Once a question goes beyond an hour old it is hard to get hits from it unless someone is searching the specific category. There is always the "No response" section, but what about questions that only got one response?
Maybe I'm over-thinking this but has anyone ever asked the same question in multiple categories? Does it help? Might it help? Should MyLot let us add multiple categories when we post?

It all depends on what my discussion is about. I will look for the best place to put it if I am really looking to get it out there and get some good responses. I have never posted it more than once though because I am not sure if Mylot allows that or not.

I can see where you are getting from but when you start adding in multiple categories etc. there are going to be people that still aren't going to see your question because so many more questions are being pumped into all those same sections and also there will probably be a ton of people just waiting to abuse the system. The best thing to do is just to make an interesting title and hope for the best - because remember mylot isn't here to get you a ton of responses to your discussions so you earn money, its here to allow discussions and to see what people are interested in and what they aren't. Just use better marketing skills.

"Better marketing skills" is what got me to this quandry! It seems to be all about what MyLot will let us do, and that is how it should be. I just wanted to hear from those who had more experience than I do.
