Must . . . not . . . sleep. I have medical tests tomorrow that require I can't go to bed for another 3 hours AND I cannot have any caffeine! This is alot harder than it used to be!

Hmmm. I wonder what kind of medical test are you going to take. I know that on some tests, you are required to fast for 9-10 hours. I wonder what yours is?

I appreciate your concern, so no apology needed. I have an EEG tomorrow and they want to do a sleep section, so no sleep now
I don't think they understand that I could sleep 10 hours tonight and still nap on demand for them

When i want to stay awake I eat or do something. If you just stay put in one place you'll find yourelf falling asleep especially if it's already your regular bedtime. Watch an engaging movie like a horror movie or clean your house or exercise. Keep busy! :)

I make myself stay awake alot of times. I drink coffee alot of times to help me do just that also. I force myself to stay up at nighttime and work so I can have part of the daylight hours to enjoy.

Ah, the good ol' days. I can vaguely remember when that was an option.

Going outside and getting some fresh air always helps me stay up (for those nights where I need to stay up all night - for school reasons mainly). There's something about going outside & sitting in the cool air for a couple of minutes that kind of wakes you up.
If you can eat, eating some carbohydrates (bread, rice, pasta) would probably wake you up as well.
Doing something 'addictive' could probably keep you up all night, too, such as playing games on Pogo.com, doing surveys on GPT sites, or even staying here on myLot. Anything that will help as a distraction is good - at least for me.
Good luck!

I am going to take your advice here in a minute. Right now, MyLot is one of my addictions I guess, so I'll be back after some fresh air!
