How would BBB handle your case if you file a complaint

So, I would like to file a complaint on BBB (better business bureau) against the credit card which wrongfully posted a bad credit on my credit report. I had already discussed with that credit card, and they said that they would handle it. A couple months later, they still didn't do anything about it. Someone suggested me to file a complaint on BBB website. So, I just need to know how would BBB handle this case? Is there any expert on this field can give me a head up? Sincerely thanks!
