Have you ever bought gift for somebody's birthday but you worry if he will like it or not? My hubby's birthday is on this Thursday, he is not a big fan of fancy stuff, for those stuff that he wants like fishing rod, car... I cannot afford... since his shirts are either ripped or have holes on them and he is going to be on television this weekend so I bought couple shirts for him. The question is I wonder if he will be happy to receive the birthday present... I hope I can get to see his smile when he receives it!

I hope he likes his gifts! I usually ask my fiancee for a list of things he'd enjoy for his birthday. Typically I try to get a few things off of that list (depending on price) and then go on my own for something else, small usually. I like to have something for him that is a complete surprise and that he's not expecting! Speaking of birthdays - my fiancee's birthday is later this month! I just got his gifts in the mail! yipee.

I have not met your boyfriend, so I am not that sure of his personality, for me to know whether a couple of shirts will help bring out a smile in him. However, in my opinion... the thought that you bought those, for his birthday is something... yet, buying them because you know he might be needing them is an added plus. I believe he will like it, and appreciate you for thinking of it as more than just a gift... I don't think it's just fancy at all.

Hello mermaidivy, It never bothers me whether that someone will like my gift or not. The most important is that, I remember that important date in his/her life and I 'translate' that by giving him/her a gift. As for my husband, I know he doesn't like many things but sometimes to his surprise, I still give him something that he doesn't like. It is not that I am not concern about what he likes or not, just that I want to give him a surprise and see what he will say about it!

i guess it will be happy from your gift as well!!So it is normal that sometimes you are not very sure about what you cna buy of interesting for the birthday but thnk normally you can buy some good hings and he will be happy as well!! So it is difficult to say yes this will be the best suitable for the coccasion seeing that i never known your husband but i think a gift is always good and make happy people that receive it!!

I bought wrist watch to him on his birthday and he liked it, ofcourse that was my first gift to him after we proposed each other. For boys I think it is better to give stuff like watches, shirts, goggles and bracelets, what else they require. I think he'll like ur gift because any gift given with love can be accepted with great happiness :) All the best

Hi mermaid...I think that he will like the gift because not only does he need it for this weekend but the fact that you bought it and picked them out yourself just for him will make it extra special!

I am sure he will understand that everyone is trying to deal in this time of economic problems. Maybe you could also surprise him with something sexy later in the day/night. How about having grandma watch your kids if you have them, and have a sexy candle-lit dinner!

hi.... i am sure that he will like the gift because it is love which is more important that the gift......i am sure that you both love each other so much that whatever you give to each other may be small or big it is not bigger than your love......and giving him a couple shirts would really make him more than happy.....as he is going to be in front of a camera and those shirt will make him look smart and handsome so don't worry i think he will be happy.....and you could see that smile on his face..... and wish him happy birthday in advance from my side.....and all the best !!!!!!!!

I think he will like it!Because I'm in the same situation like yours. The things that my boyfriend likes are very expensive for me to buy.Once I felt sad that I can't give him his favourite things. But on his last birthday I gave him a cross-embroidered pillow which was made by myself, and he was very happy and moved!Because he knew that the gift was full of my heart and love.So I think your husband will be so happy after receiving the gift you have chosen for him carefully. And Happy Birthday to your husband.
