hi friends.first time in 2 years, there is a rift between dhoni and his coach gary.
gary : fatigue was the main factor for our lose in this world cup
dhoni : players were not tired in the field
gary : IPL timing didnt give enough time to prepare for the main tournamant
dhoni : IPL proved a good platform to prepare for world cup
gary : players picked up niggles during IPL and we lost contact with the players during that time as they r doing everything within their franchise
dhoni : when we play cricket,we do pick up injuries.it bound to happen.
gary : our fielding looked bad.the boys looked very tired
dhoni : some players were 100% fit but we didnt give our 100% this time.
all it took is one early exit and captain and coach r giving different views and contradicting each other.
is the indian team prepared for another coach captain rift?

Yes Dhoni directly opposed Coach's saying.
But if you look at those comments and observe Kirsten seems to be right.
Dhoni blatantly denying that players weren't tired. Only he can explain how quick and efficient the players in the middle. Even he himself wasn't quick in reflexes. Let down the opportunities to run out the batsmen. Bravo etc.
No doubt there were a few players who were hundred percent fit and quick. But to win that is not sufficient. Whole team needs to be fit and raring to go. That was missing.
Dhoni is trying to defend the IPL. But Collingwood said rightly when he said, "Not IPL but the travelling takes a toll on players"
So Kirsten seems to be right and Dhoni seems to be right. But the truth is somewhere in the middle.

well i felt that Dhoni was advised/ordered/requested not to say anything against BCCI or IPL.Gary is different.if he is removed for blaming IPL,he can coach some other team but dhoni dont have that option.

It all depends on the context of the questions being asked. If you know the questions to which they were replying, then all the statements will start to make some sense. Anyways I dont believe there is any rift between the captain and coach. As a team they probably would be affected by the IPL, thats probably what Gary is trying to say. While Dhoni may be looking at it more personally as to how the IPL helps individuals build momentum.
I dont know the actual crictumstances under which these statements were made. But afetr reading them I can see where the two of them are coming from. Anyway theres no point speculating anything, we will just have to wait and see what happens next.
