My daughter watched this movie for the fist time last night. The movie was made all the way back in 1986 I think. It really grabbed her attention. She sat through it very well for a 2 year old. I had never seen it before, but it is a favorite of my brother's family. Have you seen Labyrinth before? What do you think of it?

OMG!! I haven't thought about that movie in a long time. When it came out, I was 8. I loved it. I think I will go out and rent it. I would like to see it again. I used to watch it when I was a kid, and then when I was a teenager. But my copy of it broke. My favorite character in it was always the little trash dump person. I can't remeber it's name. But I remember David Bowie was one of the main characters. I can't remember who the girl was, although I know that I should. I can see her face, and she looks so well-known. But I've gone blank. You are the first person in years that I have heard talk about it. You should watch it, if you haven't yet.

I think you're right, I think it was made in 86. I loved watching this movie when I was growing up. The music was great. My recollection of the film is fuzzy, but I think I liked the doors where one could only tell the truth and the other could only lie. I also remember something about a bog. I wonder if I'll like it as much as an adult as I did as a child. what do you think?

Is that the movie with David Bowie? I had never ever heard of it until this past week. I bought a book on sale at Borders. The woman who wrote it went around on her many interviews and asked each celebrity what their favorite movie was, and why. Two of the celebrities she interviewed said Labyrinth that starred David Bowie. I think the two people were Evan Rachel Wood, and Rachel Leigh Cook.

My daughter loves it. I do too. My hubby loves going around saying "SMELLS BAD" like Luto. She loves Never ending Story and the Dark Crystal as well. We are looking forward to the Dark Crystal Sequel coming out!

2011 is when it has been pushed back, I think.

That is one of my favorite movies, or it was when I was a child. I'd seen it a few times as a kid, and a few years ago for some reason I wanted to see it again. I've had 2 cats named Toby, after the baby in that movie. I might have to add it to my Blockbuster queue to see again sometime soon.

I remember watching Labyrinth when it originally came out and being entranced by the storyline, costumes and effects. I wouldn't have a clue how many times I have seen it since, definitely not enough fingers and toes to count. The thing which always stands out for me is the performance of David Bowie and the song "Dance Baby Dance", I always have that in my head for days after watching it.

I rally liked this film, but I was 5 or 6 years old when it came out, and it was shown free on TV from when I was 8 till I was 12. This was the perfect age for this movie. When I was 5 or 6 it was too scary, but around 8 to 12 it was a great movie.
