I often wondered why men felt inclined to grow long her and wear earrings where as there are women who dont want either one.I was traveling week before last and the driver of the bus was asking the same question.Lately every parent of a male child wants to pierce their ear.Why dont we subject our children to choices as they grow.Little boys wear chains or links on their side like all the gangsters do.I learnt that having a chain hanging from the front of your belt to the back is to honour friends lost in prison and that the longer the chain the more friends one had who died in prison. As for the earring no one can tell me.I have this friend whos youngest sister had a baby and she dressed him up with chains, baggy pants exposing boxers and i asked her why is she dressing this innocent child like that and she told because she wants to.Most time we truly determine our childrens future endeavours.Guys no offence but help me out.WHY ARE THESE THINGS HAPPENING?WHAT DOES THOSE MEAN?

I agree that this has been an ever increasing trend in the world. For that long hairs, body piercing aspect, in recent years, it seems as if men and women are swapping places. I can see so many people around me walking with those long, ugly looking hairs following the fashion trends "blindly"!! No one cares how they would appear and are mere slaves to follow what celebrities wear. And hanging that chain, its like a Tag that makes you look like a criminal or roadside hunk!! Idiot, freaks!!

I so agree with you.I honestly wouldnt date a guy who cant dress appropriate to go on a date even if its a casual one.I like guys who look sexy the traditional way although i dont want a man who wears shirt tighter than i wear them.thanks for the response.

Hey, just one question.. I feel I am too skinny and afraid if a girl would date with me ever!! Is it true you girls gauge a personality solely on physical grounds?? I mean is a good physique so important?

Whiz its about your personality.can you make her laugh, will you go shopping with her, will you rub her tummy when she has her monthly? What would you plan on your anniversary? Those are the most important factor of a true relationship. If you meet a girl who say you are to skinny stop, breathe and run fo cover because you would spend the duration of your relationship taking orders. So women choose the men because of those things to name a few.good luck!

I don't know why a man would want to have long hair and earrings and stuff like that. I am a 31 year old guy. I keep my hair cut short (military style most of the time) and I do not have any piercings. In my family, we were taught that men didn't wear their hair long or pierce their ears or anything like that. Aside from a couple of my cousins who were never really good at paying attention anyway, the rest of the men in my family keep their hair cut (although I think I am the only one who still wears mine military style) and do not have any piercings. Most of us are clean-shaven as well, although I do wear a mustache or goatee some of the time, and a couple of my cousins do the same. I quit trying to figure this kind of stuff out a long time ago. I try not to look down on anyone for the way they dress, but I have to admit that the way some guys dress these days makes them look ridiculous to say the least. Sometimes, I just have to laugh a little to myself. The one that gets me the most is to see guys with their pants sagging down behind their legs. Didn't anyone teach these guys how to buy pants that fit so they don't have to walk around holding them up with one hand all the time? It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that if you go into a fitting room and try them on, you will be able to tell if they fit you before you buy them. Even most of the goodwill stores I have been in have fitting rooms that shoppers can use to try on clothes before you buy them, and I bet with a little extra effort, they could probably even find a belt that will go with the pants to help hold them up as well.

I'm a gurl, but will answer anyway, LOL. when I read your post I immediately thought of my boyfriend, long hair, pierced ears, though not the hip hop type.. He say he grows his hair long only because he feels he has a declining hair line, and wants to enjoy his hair while he still has it. LOL. The pierced ears, I never really asked him why, though I think it looks okay. THis is the catch, he has a young boy from a previous relationship, he's only 7 but he already has pierced ears.. when we got together, I was shocked to see that this little boy already wears earings, I asked him why ( I was not happy! ), his only explanation? well, it looks cool.. well, that's how they think, and I really don't want to say anything, cause it is HIS child, and I think I am not in the position to tell him otherwise. =)

Hi, this kind like a trend or modes time. Sometime this influence other people to do the same, whether its comfort and fit or not. This trend will be gone and show up again as runing trend that followed.
