Should those ever convicted child molesters be separated from the community?

Child molestation is one of biggest concern in our society. Those ever - convicted child molesters can leave a trauma to our peaceful community as a whole. After release of those ever - convicted, they might go back to our community as nothing ever happen. But people will still remember the mishaps. Do you think it will be a good idea to segregate those ever - convicted criminals from the community? Or give them a second chance back to the community to prove that they had made constructive change?
