so what is it with Obama and television ? i have never seen a president that is on tv so much making statements,it seems that he is on there talking about something that he is about to screw up at least once a week. and now he is trying his hand as a stand up comic too .only a democrat can get away with that and no news stations will criticize him.

Obama's a straight-up narcissist. That's all I have to say about that. He's a narcissist who can't go one day without being in front of a camera, allowing that elitist attitude of his to be broadcast all over the world.
I agree...the media's coverage of this man is getting ridiculous. All I want is one day of not seeing the man or hearing him, or hearing about what he does. Is that so much to ask?

It's not that "only a democrat can getaway with it", it is just that he is smart enough to take advantage of television and internet technlogy to help promote his programs and they are important enough ideas that the news is willing to go along. It is the politics of the twenty-first century and Republicans are just jealous that
1) they don't do it well enough anymore (let's not forget how well Reagan did with TV) and
2) they don't have a message or plan for America any more complicated than "Don't vote for Democrats".

The medias coverage of Obama is getting ridiculous. I don't think we've ever seen the media so infatuated with a president. Whenever I used to see Bush on television I always thought he was an arrogant SOB. I'm getting same smug vibe from Obama. What makes me laugh about Obama though is that the media tries to pass him off as a down to earth guy in touch with the people. He's a Chicago style politician through and through.
