Are You,or have You Ever been a "Clirt"?!

"Clirting",for those of You who may be familiar with the concept,if not this name for it, is a term coined for the process of (C)ar f(LIRTING) with the other drivers around you in slow moving,parallel or stationary traffic!
I've heard of couples checking one another out and exchanging notes and phone numbers through their open windows..ever seen or experienced this?

shepherdspy well in my book those who clirt are,
to be so eloquent, damned fools. They are playing
tic tac toe in a moving traffic and one wrong
move and they just xed themselves out. They
want to know all the vital statistics that bad then
stop and park and yak.don't play childish games
in traffic . it is thoughtless and dangerous.

Agreed,being in control of a car is a responsibility not to be taken lightly..it can be dangerous for the driver and anyone around them if things get beyond your control or something unexpected happens..I cycle in town sometimes rather than drive around,and have had the occasional scare from a car pulling out unexpectedly..but it is Human nature to check out those around you in traffic,and some flirtation might occur..

yes i have experienced this a lot of times, it happens very commonly in india. exchanging their numbers and flirting with their cars lol. but i have heard of this term for the first time, i have never heard of this term. nice one. enjoy and take care.

Here in Ireland when I posted this discussion,I'd recently heard a radio show from Dublin discussing this activity with people from the city phoning and text messaging responses to the presenters..it sounded like fun if you were single and driving around in slow moving traffic to turn it into a social event,rather than stressing out over traffic delays!
