ADVANTAGES: You are popular wherever you are. You could endorse whatever you would like to have. You could be an influential individual to anyone. Easy source of income from your big sponsors. DISADVANTAGES: You can't go anywhere freely without your personal bodyguard. You could have full of intrigues positively or negatively. You would be a public property, you can't hardly have privacy. Your personal matters would be known by everybody. If I would ask you, would you like this kind of life? Let's share your opinion....

No no no! not for me please... i can't bare it... i need to be free... it is the media that rushes to you and i don't like that... i don't want to be so famous that everywhere i go ppl would go like " ohh la la " .... just a mild popularity is good... like if i become a good drummer, then there should be only other drummers to recognize me and approach me, that's all...

Yes. Having that kind of life would be so hard to live in. Well, life are full of advantages and disadvantages. You can't avoid it anyhow. In your case if time comes you would be known and famous being a drummer somehow you became a public property and media people would always be looking for you for some scope...Got my point..? Sooner of later you you would be known to the whole community of drummers...Good luck

Oh I'd rather stay private than have a public life. I may have all the benefits a star or famous person except for happiness. Being happy is what's more important to me than being famous. Now I'm not saying that famous people are not happy but having a life without privacy, living a life with limitations such going out whenever or wherever I would like to go and being just myself is difficult. I'm sure those famous people misses a simple happy life. Ciao!

My husband and I each have books published. I have a cookbook, and he has three sci-fi novels. We are only interested in being well-known enough that our books sell, but not so well-known as not to get any privacy, and to have the tabloids in our lives all of the time.

I think every job has its own responsibility. The same thing happened to being a popular person. Sometimes we don't want to be popular, but we become popular accidentally from our job, achievement, or even looks. This is just about fate. But no matter what it takes, being popular or not, those both have its own advantages and disadvantages. Have a nice day and happy mylotting.

I enjoy my privacy and since I have a 9-5 job I don't need to be a brand name at this point. Perhaps when I retire or quit my job, then I might want to do some branding. So far, my usernames are all different at the various social media sites - no chance for branding.
