What if...you are in the streed and need badly a toilet and can t find one?

Desperate times call for desperate measures in that because I am male I am fortunate in that I can find a tree providing there is no one around! I have been caught short before on the way home and I have managed to nip into a wood or a park when no one is around I have to check to make sure otherwise I could get fined!!! Or find a secluded spot away from eyes to go! Providing it's a wee I need of course ;0) Thankfully this hasn't happened to many times and there has always been a toilet or I've been able to hold on, but is very very uncomfortable!

A taxi? i think i'll take a plane instead.. that's faster. or i'll just go behind some tree

Yup....it was such a torture. On one hand, you have to look out for a place or signs of public toilet; on the other hand, you need to exercise control over your bladder. It's not so bad in my own country, at least I know where the public toilets are, or most probably located. It happened once, when we were overseas on a vacation, and we went round looking for a toilet; finally located one - inside a shopping mall. There were no public toilets outside at all!!

If I need the toilet and I am away from my house, I will just go to a shop or a bar. Most of them round my area have toilets anyway, plus there are public toilets in the town centre, so I will always be able to use one of those if I happen to be there. I am a girl, so would never, ever go to the toilet outside. I think that's disgusting, unless you're a man, in which case it's not too bad.

i prefer to go into some store or shop to ask them for their toilet.its too hard to bear it when people want to go to toilets. i do not like to take a taxi going home for its both expensive and catching trouble, what if you really want to get rid of something when you are still on your way home in a taxi?that will be very funny

I live in a rural community. There are no taxi's available. Most store owners will let you use their facilities. But if desperate, find a bush and squat. Bodily functions happen. We are human. What did we do before toilets existed??

Hi, Ice! I'd go into the nearest store and ask for the restroom. In fact, I've done that a number of times.

Hey, na not really a funny question, guess every one faces it once in their life time. Well i would not be shy and run to a store and request them to use their toilet for sure. Yes if i am at a place where it is impossible i would take a ride back home or to the closest restaruaunt around. Gosh it is painful if you cannot find anything.

Oh no...that's really a bad situation to be,haha... Ya, this question can be funny, but not so funny if it happens on anyone of us. This is one of the hardest thing to bare with, i mean, it is hard to stand if we're really in the need to go toilet. I can't imagine how would i be if i were in such situation. For sure i will be asking and looking around for toilet, and try anyway to get one. Worse come to worst, i will look for a place where there is no people around, to settle it. I know this is not the correct way to do so, but...i don't think i have any other choice in that time,haha.. What a topic, you made me laugh! thanks.

Well, that's an interesting question. I will try and bear with it while trying to find for the nearest available place where there are any toilets available. I will usually look for the nearest coffee shop / fast food restaurant available in the area. These are places where they will have a toilet and it's usually free for all to use. I may dash into a store to ask if they can let me into their toilet if I'm really very urgent, and I dn't see any of the food stores nearby. If I'm near my residence, I will dash back home to use the toilet.

If i just needed a wee and there were no shops around for me to pop into,i would find an alley and wee in there,men do it all the time,so i can.If i needed the other i would make sure i found a toilet somewhere

am happy i haven't been in that situation. but if ever, i guess i would go inside a mall if there is one nearby. here in our place, we can ask the permission of a house owner but i think it would be too great of a favor. and shameful. so i would rather go home on a taxi.

LOL..i think there is med that calm your nearly explode barrel. Well it never happen to me before. Cause when i travel alone i sometimes go to a gas station or shop just to relax and ofcourse i check if i got a load of deadly chemicals!!!!

Hey, Well i admit being a male it certainly helps. U know any place which is isolated or a small shade where no one comes is good for me, if iam that desperate. I mean technically speaking holding it is not good at all for your health. Waste is meant to throw out of your body and u better do it as quickly u can, lol. It also reminds me one of my friend. His office is very near to a mall. Now he and his mates never use thier office toilet. Whenever they need to pee or ... they just go to the nearby mall and get relieved. Poor mall owners. Thanx for bringing back some bad memories, icesmile! I've been in that spot a couple of times. I did stop at a few places looking for a public restroom and was told they didn't have one. I think all public places should have one because you just never know and especially when travelling with small children. I stopped at one convenience store in the middle of nowhere and was desperate. The clerk told me no. I literally begged her for I knew that she was not working in a place that had no bathroom. She did end up letting me use it even tho she wasn't supposed to. How does one say no to someone in a situation like that? I never would be able to.
