I was just sitting chatting away to my partner complaining that I was feeling dizzy.
The next thing I know I am coming round flat out on the sofa and my partner is sitting with me looking worried. I had given him quite a fright.
I asked 'What was wrong? he told me that he was sure I had passed out and was out for a good twenty minutes. All that time he had refused to leave my side.
I just put it down to the heat and also to the fact that I had been having hot flushes, dizzy spells and feeling sick to my stomach the night before.
I have been know to faint before when I have overheated but have never been out for that long.
Has the heat affected you in the same way?
How does the heat affect you?

I tend to stay out of the heat b/c I get heat strokes really easily. I love the summertime and the fun and all that but the heat is just too hard on me. When I was young I used to get nose bleeds all the time from the heat.

My 18 year old son is the same he was and still is at times very prone to nose bleeds when it is hot.

Hi. littleone3. Wow! This was scary for you, I am sure.
I have been overheated many times before. I know that I feel flushed, thirsty and drowsy. I also feel very weak and tired too. I don't like the hot heat. It is 95 degrees outside right now and I would not be caught hanging around outside at all. No way, not me! I am glad that you are doing okay though. I think that you should contact your doctor so that he could possibly examine you to make sure that you are okay. I hope that you will be okay. Take care and stay cool as much as possible!

Hey littleone! I get sick too when it gets too hot and also
pass out if I am overheated. That sounds like the symtoms
of heat exhaustion. You have to try to stay hydrated and
get to a cool place when you feel those symptoms coming on.
Right before I feel faint I get the chills and then I pass
out. It is a very scary feeling and it is also very dangerous.
That is heatstroke and you can dye from it! I have had to
go to the hospital emergencyroom a few times to be re-hydrated
and watched for a few hours until they were sure that I was
alright again.

Don´t you think you should be checked by a doctor? Maybe it´s nothing, but you never know. And even if it´s not serious, a doctor will tell your partner what to do in those cases. I believe you should put your head lower than the rest of your body so that blood goes to your brain. But don´t trust my words, seek help. Take care
