Many of us know now that anyone in MyLot can post a task for other members to do. This can be a great way to get referrals to any of the sites you may be a member of, and its a lot more effective than spamming people with links in the discussions and PMs.
But I've only known one person in my friends list to ever try it. MysDianait. She posted a voting site for her son's (I think) band in Italy. The band didn't win, but they got one of the top prizes, thanks to all the votes she got from MyLot Tasks.
I just posted a task today in MyLot Tasks. I'm excited to see what response I get from it. I am asking people to join a website that will help them to earn on the side of link building and writing tasks; a social search engine. I think that I worded it really good, and the reward is worth the work. But I can't wait to see what types of responses I get, and how quickly the slots will be filled.
So, have any of you posted a task here in MyLot for someone else to do? Was it worth it? What was the result? Will you post another task after your experience?

Hi there and good luck with your task!
I was happy to have the chance to create one which helped all round - it helped the band mny son is part of and was a chance for many to do their first task too! I have another one in mind too but I must have time to be able to deal with all the 'paperwork' that comes with it. Every time a user submitted a completed task, a PM arrived - I had hundreds of PMs to delete
Now I have a problem - your task does not appear in the tasks that I have available to me. Is it not posted yet?

Actually, after two hours of searching I finally found out that I had to go back into the task and press the post button
Anyway, it should show now. I don't see it though because it is my task, so please let me know if you see it.

I have joined mylot community today only & this is the first disscussion I am responding. I have not raised any tasks yet but I know that earning could be more from raising tasks. So I think that in future I will definitely raise some interesting tasks...

I am honored that you would choose my discussion as the first one to respond to. I hope that you will find as much information and enjoyment as I have at this site.
I would suggest, you being new and all, to take your time and learn everything you can about this website, including the tasks. You will find there is a wealth of information, entertainment, and socializing, as well as earnings here.
I look forward to seeing more of you here!

Would love to help you but I'm already a member. It takes a long time to get 6,000 points.

It sure does. But my points have been climbing steadily since I started doing those link builder tasks. I figured that I could make it climb even more if I got people who do the link builder and writing tasks under my wing. I figured I could help myself and help them at the same time. But if this doesn't help much, I have a few other things up my sleeve for this summer.... lol

Nothing beats a failure but a try. As long as you follow the guidelines, your task will not be rejected. But starting and responding to discussions is fun too! That's what's kept me here for the past two years!

Currently, I have not posted any task for other people here in myLot. I am still thinking of a task that somehow catch other users' interest and help them develop their skills.
I will try to post some tasks in the near future so that can also know if there will be a response from other users. Happy Mylotting!!!

No, I have never even considered posting a task because I did not see any benefit in this system. However, I did not consider the type of opportunity that you quote in your example of mysdianaiy soliciting votes for her son's band. This seems an excellent way to support someone or something that you you consider deserves recognition.
I still have no reason to create a task, but at least I can now understand how it can be a useful thing to implement.
