You know I abused pills when I was young, I grew up in some hard s--- and thinking back to that I just find myself amazed how people do it.
I wouldn't take hard drugs necessarily but I did use what I could get my hands on and that was Extra Strength Tylenol. I NEVER had anyone tell me that I could do this for a high it just started one day as I was thinking. I never used pills for anything growing up so I guess I was pretty sensitive to them because it started out with just one, I can't remember if I had a headache or what; this was when I was 14 years old.
Going to school with all i was dealing with was JUST TOO MUCH and I totally wanted to skip existence so the next best thing I found was taking these pills everyday. At first they just slightly numbed me but then once I found they had a numbing effect I went on to taking two a day for weeks and then eventually it went to three.
One day though I was in class and it just felt like my HEART STOPPED
and not only that EVERYTHING STOPPED! I was totally freaked out and the kids in class when the paramedics came for me were probably confused because here I was the new kid in class, didn't say a thing to anybody and now Im going to the hospital. I don't know if my teacher ever shared w the students what happened because I was transferred to a private christian academy after that.
When the cop came to my bed to question me i was completely messed up. He would ask me a question and it was like a movie clip on a reel when it skips--every question i heard but the next second I had no idea what he asked me
but just that he asked me something and nothing really registered. Turns out there was a ton of pills in my stomach and it never dawned up me while I was doing it that they could just sit in my stomach but they did. I never did it again and now I will not use pills unless its absolutely necessary because I do not want to find myself in the same situation with even more consequences now that I'm an adult.
If I was affected just by Tylenol pills could you imagine these people and celebrities who abuse drugs day after day like its nothing--mix them with alcohol and other drugs. I was a complete ZOMBIE on Tylenol, I mean just one big fog, did you ever experience or know someone who did this?

You are very lucky to be alive after that. I really do feel for you and glad that you are better and you are wiser to what happened to you. Some people it wouldn't phase them and they would just continue on and eventually it would get the better of them. I did have something like that. I have been taking painkillers and not over the counter they are all perscription pills for over the last 3 years. I got to the point that I was taking them everyday and getting addicted to them. But they kepted on writing them off like candy. I was a complete mess and yes I was a zombie just like you. I just wasn't there most of the time. I did cut back and whene myself off them and only take them now if I really need them.

If thats the case I would be looking for another doctor. A doctor shouldn't be writing all those perscriptions. It's just not heard of. However if something does happen to your mother in law and forgive me for saying this I am sure that doctor would be under the microscope with a very fine tooth comb after seeing what is all in her system. As for the getting for her friends she really shouldn't be doing that. You never know what is wrong with that person and if they are going to abuse it.

I just be her friend and give her my honest opinion and hope she makes the decision herself is the best I can do I figure

No, I never had Tylenol effect me this way. I do know some over-the-counter pain pills are very long lasting and might sit in your stomach for hours. I also know that Tylenol is very hard on the liver. People tend to think that a thing sold over-the-counter must be safe, but not even vitamins are safe if you take an "over-dose" of them. I'm glad it turned out okay for you!
