Favorite Block

My all time favorite block has to be the bear claw. There is just something about it I love.
What is your favorite block? Or do you prefer art quilts?

My favorite block is anything that can be made from fabric strips and doesn't involve a lot of matching seams or points. I started with a rail fence block and have recently graduated to strip-piecing nine patch. Maybe one of these days I'll make something that includes half-square triangles.

hear hear easy is always nice! Half square triangles and flying geese can be a real nap with the strip piecing methods.
