This has nothing to do with mice at all. Are you a city dweller or a country bumpkin? I live in a very rural area and since there is not many job options jump on this computer here to make a little extra cash. I was wondering who is on here the most. City folks or country?

I am a country with a little city mouse. Let me explain how that is. Well you know everything now days are crossed bread. I am one of those mice. I want the comfort of the county but close to town too. I would like to own someplace that is only a few miles from town. Too lazy to drive too far for that gallon of milk.

Now I can understand that. We live rural but our town isn't more then 10 min. away, but being such a small town it is rural in and of it's self, but I can get that milk without having to drive an hour which is definitely cool.

I don't live in a big city - though I about 80 miles to a big city, Los Angeles, CA. I would DIE if I live in LA or the immediate cities surrounding it. HECK, I doubt that I'll survive in LA COUNTY. Though there are some cities in LA County that are not crowded or as bad as LA. But that would still be too close to LA for me. My boyfriend currently lives in Long Beach - which is another big city in LA County, and his parents can't imagine living anywhere else. So both him and I are in a mission to find a place around Southern Cali - that would be close enough to Long Beach for his parents but far enough that I wouldn't die. Maybe Orange County. As much as it's true that I'm a "city mouse" (I don't like mice or rats, btw. They scare me!) - I guess my heart is in the peaceful rural areas.

I grew up in NJ. Where we lived started out as country as we where surrounded by farms and a huge tree nursery, as I grew up though the City took over and now there is barley an area with out a strip mall or McMansions. I now live in the country. I love the rural atmosphere. We live closer to town but as town is smaller then most streets back in Jersey it is still pretty nice. We have neighbors but trees and a creek and wild life. I can garden and the kids can play out in the yard. I do not think I could go back to all the traffic and high paced style of life the urban areas have.

I award you prize of the month for most original title! I guess I'm a "country mouse" but rural, rather than rustic - I'm near Gatwick, and of London extraction, so countrified rather than country born 'n' bred. But I do love the old tractors programs on the rural channel!

I'm also one of them country mouse's, I wouldn't have it any other way. I don't see how people live with all the noise in the big cities. I guess in some ways I fell like Hank Willians Jr." County folks will survive".

I live in the big city, Chicago to be exact. I was born and grew up here and plan to live here until my bones ache too much and can't tolerate the cold and snowy winters. I really do love living in this city. There is so much to do and see. You can get to wherever you want to go, even if you don't drive or own a car. There are some of the best restaurants and the best pizza(in my opinion) anywhere. You can always find downsides to living in any place, but I am happy right where I am.

I am definately a Country Mouse. Always have been. When we went to buy a house the town ones were cheaper but when we went to look at them in a town I knew I would always be a country mouse and would hate a big town or city.
