Odd Tree Growth

Tree Ape? - Odd formation on this tree.

This photo is from a park near my house. I thought it was a great looking tree and had my daughter take a shot of it for me as I didn't have my camera with. I see what looks like a gorilla hanging on the tree. What do you see when you look at this? Do you have any odd looking trees to share the picture with myLot? HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB!!~

Angry tree! - Stop cutting down the forests man!
It does kind of look like a gorilla doesn't it! I'll have to appeal to the Aussie in me and say that I think it looks more like a koala though! I've just managed to find a photo of a tree that isn't overly happy about deforestation it seems! Here it is:

I'm not sure if it's a photoshopped pic or not either, but it does look pretty authentic as is I reckon. There were other funny tree pics I found too, but they weren't appropriate I don't think and way too phallic!

I don't know really what I see besides a growth. hahaha I guess right now my eyes aren't working too well, been watching too much of the live BB feeds.

What a strange thing! It looks like a gorilla but if you look at it differently it looks like a beaked animal's face with the eye closest to the tree. I love finding odd things like that. Trees are so amazing!

It does look like some kind of critter is hanging on the tree doesn't it? Afraid I have no tree pictures handy right now, though there's one at home of a mossy stump that I'm rather fond of...

I do not have any odd looking trees in my area. When I first moved to this house I found a piece of cedar that looked like an elephant.Everyone said they could see the raised trunk. I do not know where that little piece of wood has gone.

I don't know about a gorilla, but there's definitely some critter hanging on there... a gobelin maybe?
