What is the leaderboard on here?

I just scrolled to the bottom of a page and saw leaderboard. What really is that? thanks for any help and answers in this. God bless you!

I know about the leaderboard that it's there with some nicknames of the members but I was never in any one of them. I guess that these are the list of people who have become very important in these interests and they probably have a lot of posts.

Leaderboard is about the level and rating referred from different users in certain topics on mylot as well!!
So in one you was active,discussions should be popular and other users will rate your posts or discussions too yoru level on the leaderaboard will increase!!so deals with your rating mainly!!
