Some people can do a few things at the same time. For example, they can studying while listening to the radio or wathcing t.v and at the same time washing their cloth. Or they can browse the internet, listening to the radio, chatting and a few more things.
But, some people can't do that. They can only do 1 work at a time. Other thing will destruct their concentration. If they want to study, they don't want to be disturb by other sound even a small volume music.
How about you my friend? Are you a multi task or single task person?

I often do two or three task at at one time, especially when my task is flexible and uncomplicated. Take for example. During my daily work, i always process my daily job at the same time of listening music. Do some reading while taking subway. Watch two video shows at on computer screen. But when a task need great concentration on it, I will focus the only task without any disturbance. It is depends on the character of the task and compatibility of the different tasks to do multi tasks or single task at one time. Do you agree with it? Happy mylotting!

Hi akuler, I definitely have the art of multi tasking, I think any mother must be able to do this. I can prepare a meal whilst checking email and washing up, and listening to music. If I'm on mylot and my son is around I can teach him things from it about new things or ideas he may not be familiar with. However if I'm reading a good book I cannot stand to be disturbed or to have any noise around me.

I was a secretary previously, so I multi task like a pro. Then when I became a mother, I multi task with eyes close! I generally think women can multi task better than man! Man can only multi task when they are on the wheels. :)

akuler, I am a multi task person. I can do lots of stuff at one time, and I always find my time is sufficient. I watch TV, MyLotting, data entry, chat on MSN, and do my blogs at the same time with lots of the windows and tabs. No choice, I just find my 24 hours isn't as sufficient as it is. how come?

Hi cwong77,
WoW
... 24 hours is not enough? I also used to open a lot of tab for multiple task. But since my internet connection is not so good, have to reduce it
. Otherwise, I spend a lot of my time waiting for loading.
Thank you for your response and have a nice day.

HeiHei, I am both multi task and single task person. Sometimes, just like, if I am playing computer games or reading, I can't do other things. Because at that time I am absolutely absorbed by those thing. Sometimes, when I am browsing the internet or doing exercise, I can listen radio or music at the same time.

i think multi tasking should be realy better than a single one without doubts as well!!i guess that quite all the people when they are on the computer need to do many things at the same time and so in this way multi-tasking is really ood and useful for all i think!!
Surely if you use computer just for some purposes as i check sometimes mails and surf on some favourite sites so yes it can be also useful a single task as well..but as the procssor market will see with micro-processor that they have more cores to manege better the multi-tasking operations as well..i think now the majority would be much more affected o mutli-tasking than single one!

Hi tonyllenium,
Yeah ... multitask is better the single for some people who can adept well. And if you are using a computer, it is also depend on your computer processor. If you do a few task at one time and your processor is not up to date one then your job will be slower.
Thank you for your response and have a nice day.
