Something really there

Do you see things have are not always there?
So one night I woke up to get the baby a bottle. I saw hand prints on the mirror. When I went back into the kitchen to put the bottle up the hand prints were gone. At first I thought I was loosing my mind but to be honest I think sothing was really there.
Has this ever happen to you?
