Now, a quick update on my progress at melting plastic glasses with rays coming out of my eyes. Moving molecules so they get hot and cause the plastic to melt wasn't so much difficult to achieve as it was difficult to control: more often than not, the plastic would briefly burst into flames. I have learnt to master the rain incantation so it wasn't so bad but it was frustratingly long before I could satisfactorily melt plastic glasses without burning them.
