Should Mylot introduce an UNDO/EDIT feature?

yes the guy below me is right thats pretty smart. in a comment right under just say your mistake. i do that sometimes but not all the time because i think that person who i was talking to knew what i meant. but yes i do agree with you still. we wouldn't have to write a extra comment if we could just edit the original. have a happy mylot day.

You can preview the post before submitting it, but I agree, an editing or undo button would be good. After all, we can edit PMs, which are seen by only one person, so why can't we edit posts, which are viewed by many? I am a trained typist, so I make very few mistakes, but I have noticed here on Mylot that the upload can be quite slow, so I always read through my posts to make sure all the letters have completed the journey through cyberspace. I did experiment with the 'Control + Z' keys, which allows you to remove a wrong word on Windows, but I lost the whole post and, unlike Windows, where if you hit the keys again it restores your work, it didn't work in this instance, so I had to type the whole lot again! As The Modfather says, if the mistake is serious, you can always correct it in a comment underneath, but I don't think it will harm your reputation, as many people make mistakes. At least you are honest enough to admit to yours, which is a very good sign!
