I love theme parks!

I love nothing more than going to theme parks and trying new rides - because of my love for theme parks I like going onto theme park sites where there are rumours about new rides posted and insider photos! I am getting quite excited about the new Harry Potter land that will open in Universal next year and so that is constantly being checked out in case I find any more information on it! Do you love theme parks and rides/rollercoasters that much that you follow the progress of new rides?

I use to really love all the rides at a theme park by my house. But, it really seems like the park really hasn't opened anything new lately that sounds fun to ride. With my husband's work and children we really don't get to travel much so we really have only that park to go to. We are sorta close to King's Island but, I haven't been there in years.

Thats a shame you don't get to go as much - we haven't been to any this year in our country because we normally go in the summer when it's at least nice and dry but, we have bad weather at the minute and it just keeps raining! It's no fun in theme parks when it is like that!! lol x

I can imagine that going in the rain is not fun LOL It has been mostly dry here but it has been cool, and Cedar Point is right on the Lake Erie so it's even cooler there. I shouldn't complain about 60 and 70 degrees but, when we are use to 90-100 it seems cold LOL

I'm usually the last to know about this stuff... I'm not into Theme parks much at all. It's not because I don't want to be, it's because I can't afford it. Even if I didn't have kids I probably couldn't afford it! LOL I've only ever been to a few local theme parks, Six Flags when they were here, Hershey Park courtesy of my mom, that's about it. I'd love to get to Florida and visit some of those theme parks, hopefully some day.

They can be so expensive though - usually we save up vouchers to get one of us free entry to the ones in our country and when we went to Florida( coming from the UK) we had saved up for three years to get it booked, paid for and have spending money so we could go and we spent three weeks over there so that we could experience every single park and then do them all in one trip. I am hopefuuly going back this Septemebr but, only because my job means I get some highly reduced travel packages. One day I hope you do get to experience it as it would be wonderful for you and your family! x

I love theme parks too but not so much on the rollercoasters - scared because my first experience of rollercoaster was in Ocean Park, Hong Kong, double-loop facing the Ocean and as it overturn you will feel like being thrown into the sea... OMG..so scary... 2 minutes I felt like so long... So, I like to watch people sitting on rollercoasters and screaming..lol I love other mild rides, 3D shows, performance etc like the one in Walt Disney Orlando, Disneyland Hong Kong, Sentosa Island - Singapore, Everland - Korea, Universal Studio, Gold Coast Australia etc.

Wow that ride sounds amazing in Hong Kong - I must try that if ever there! I think the 3D attractions are awesome too - so clever and yet brilliant to go on!! x
