in interview with the vampire, Tom Cruse played Lestat, and played him very well for how Louis perceived him.
whearas Stuart Townsend was fantastic for Lestat as he sees himself, as narrated in the other books.
I think that's a good difference to point out... I like both movies and I liked both actors as him, but I am not familiar enough with the books to know who really better suits the role.
