computer enhancements, fun and interesting or frustrating and confusing

How do you deal with computer enhancements? Windows goes from XP to Vista - bang head on wall. Too many things changed and no instruction manual. Yuwie puts in a chat toolbar and a bunch of other stuff. I think I mostly like my old Yuwie better. myLot puts that e-mail this discussion thing up there and I wish it would just go away (which it does when I do a mouse over, thank you). So, do you love to see new things when you get on your favorite websites, or do the changes just frustrate you to death? I'm somewhere in between, actually. Depends on what the changes are, how well they work and what else they mess up!

Hello, I just keep my computer the same way it has always been. I don't really like to play around with my computer that much since I have had some bad experiences in the past and I don't have anything backed up. Make sure you have a good day, Happy Lotting!!

I don't. I dread having to get a new laptop because I haven't got to grips with XP yet so don't want to change. It's not as if it gets any better or simpler with each change, it just makes more money for someone who already has more than enough.

That's the thing that's annoying with Vista. Maybe it does more than XP (and if anybody can tell me what that is, I'd love to hear it), but it sure doesn't do anything EASIER than XP, so what's the darn point? Like somebody said up above, change just for the sake of change.

I can easy enough get used to and learn new Features, I have to be honest that I now prefer Vista to Windows once I managed to get used to it lol As for all the new things on the Sites, well certain things I am not keen on at all but I suppose they have to keep update with everything, but I do prefer the older versions

Changes at MyLot do not seem to bother me. Changes at Gather did so I left. I never liked Yuwie, so I cannot say much about it. I have been struggling with my most recent FireFox update.

I guess it just depends on what the change is, how well it works, whether it's something that's useful to you, etc.

Hi dawnald, I don't know much about computer but I have vista but I don't really understand about Mylot changes anyway, I just stick to doing discussions and responding, so anything else don't bother me as I don't concern me, think I' stupid really, lol. Hugs. Tamara

Every time I become employed by a new company over the internet it becomes a study in frustration. You would think I would be learning enough to breeze through each new site, but they are all so different and I don't even know the terminology most of the time. I feel like I am always a step behind.
