Do you have a support system?

In my circle of friends, we have a good support system. If any one is facing a certain problem, they get the support of other friends in what ever way it is needed. So this way all our friends are well protected. You can say it is a sort of extended family. Do you enjoy such a system in your circle of friends?

I have to say that I am very lucky that way. My husband and I have moved to a different country, here none of us has family. I am amazed at how wonderful a support system that we have here. Recently we went through car trouble, we had friends come and pick us up, get us home, loan us a car and get us back to the mechanics. I really have never felt so lucky or blessed. We all take care of each other just like family.

So nice to hear that. Sometimes I wonder why this kind of system is not spreading far and wide. Thanks for your response.

I dont really have a good support system and this is something I really need to wor on getting. I think that having other people to support you is really beneficial to you and something you need to have in your life. You can also give back to others.

Unfortunately, in my circle of friends, there's none. So what I did every time I have a problem, I just lift it to God and cry in my room. It's pretty disconcerting if you have so many friends and yet you cannot ask for support from them because of fear of being mocked or being judged. Lately, I had this super heavy emotional baggage that I think I would explode, but I cannot share this burden to my friends because they are not that supportive, so I just pray every night and wrote everything to my journal and cried whole night to ease the pain, well, it temporarily heal but not totally.
