That's It "Block Users" Option

My brain has been looking for this idea that lingers in my brain for quite some time now. because i have a youtube account and watch movies there. and when ever a rude user continuously makes insulting comments about me and my video, i would end up blocking them, preventing them from making rude comments on my profile.

[i]So, my I suggest or plea to mylot admin to put up a "Block User" option that would not just only block them from our profile but also block them from rating,responding and commenting on our discussions and responses. and If the admin monitor's this person being blocked by many users, he can be the best candidate...

I know i said something about Ignoring them, but definitely they won't putting our reputation down, because this is happening again to other users. If they like it that is. i mean, they made the task, right, then probably they can make this one too.
How about it?? we think we can make a new Plea for this one???

OMG..i've seen some downright nasty comments left for people on youtube..
we've asked for it before..i don't know if they'll ever do it.
it would be nice to have the choice,however.

you got that right. but in youtube, you're uncontrollable, unless they report that person, they will keep on being nasty. and since there's some here, i would surely want to reconsider to the admin so that our reputation won't be damage..but i agree with some responders that it might give a scare for others to block those innocent newbies.

Thanks but i haven't heard some repondents from other mylot users reaction to this. for now,it's just an option to be discussion.the lamb and others are not even here, il just pm him i guess.

I don't know..there could be alot of blocking going on then and that wouldn't be productive at mylot. I do however think that we need to be able to keep our friends protected so they aren't taken aim at just because they are on a friends list. So maybe if we could keep our friends list private that would be great. Mylot will always try to take our best interest at heart and we may not get fast results sometimes as we may want but they do try. So maybe they could make a ignore option for those needing it like yahoo! has.

Hmmmmmmmm...this could turn out to be a problem. i mean, other newbies might get discriminated for being a troll if they add people that are not doesn't trust them regardless of their post. . or some might abuse it too.

i don't that's good for us newbies because we might end up being ignored by a lot of mylottters. and i agree with other users that it's really is not a good idea in this site.

I know this discussion is old but it has no responses anyway. Hell yeah I want a block option, Its an impossible dream cos admins intentionally wants people to argue cos they think its healthy,there are so many people whom I cant stand.,As in I dont want to deal with them anymore. I can ignore them but just seeing their username is annoying already,.
