In America, after this economic crisis, we all learn to be living frugal, money saving. Especially on utility bills, we all have to be money - saving savvy. Many manufacturers have recent products aim at this goal, such as energy saving lights. I would like to know which lighting product you would most preferable to used in your house? Incandescent light, the Edison light? CFL (compact Fluoresecnt light), recently popular in Home depot, Lowes and many other warehouse clubs? Or our predictable future on LEDs? Which is your choice?

I'll contnue using my good ol fasioned garden variety bulb. I don't do those flourescent replacements. They have far too much a carbon foot print anyways and they're loaded with toxic stuff. they are made in plants in country's like china who could care less then even I do about their carbon foot print in, in sweat shops for peanuts. Put on to exhaust belching diesal powered ships, shipped over, and then trucked all over the country in exhaust belching tractor trailors. Seriously, how is that a green solution?

The best way to save energy is to use lights when necessary. I use CFL at home as they are believed to cut energy costs. Infact, even public lighting uses CFL these days in my country.
