What is the PRIMARY reason you use the internet?

I use it to pass the time.
I get my news, answer a few posts, watch some shows, and play EQ2.
Since I am disabled and housebound it gives me something to do.

Well, I don't much care for it either.
Yes, I am a vet... as well as ex law enforcement in a correctional setting.
Discipline is a learned thing... I still fight the urge to reach through the screen and throttle the deserving at times.

I can relate to that feeling. 
Your background is very interesting. I dated a man that was ex law enforcement, he worked as a prison guard at a maxium security prison, I think that is why I was able to discern your background. I admire and respect the profession.
I might also add...the reason he and I are no longer together is that he was somewhat hardened to the softer aspects of life. He'd seen the very worst of humanity and was very cynical because of it. I hope this isn't the case with you.

I am sorry for you disability. But just think...you have the world at your fingertips! I'm glad that you gain enjoyment from the internet. Are you a vet? I ask because of your icon and because you just seem like a person who has learned great discipline.

I use the internet for fun and officially for my work. Officially, I send my e-mail, and all the other statistics and other stuff to my office.
For fun, I use it to download, movies, music and also play internet games.
My son uses it for his educational purposes.

And don't forget MYLOT! lol I use it for socializing and research for blogs. Once in a great while I play some games...not often.
For the most part...I see it as a tool to reach out to the world. That is what amazes me about the internet..I've made friends with people whom I never would have met...and learned so much from them about the world. It has made me a much more tolerant person.

I want to say all three, though if your definition of business is different then mine, then I may be mistaken... In any case, to sum it up, I mylot, myspace and play games... so all three, with the stressed meaning of business being mylot, and mylot only.

Fun,business,online earnings,time pass........I use internet for all the purposes as I have mentioned.It is fun to have contacts with my friends through mails.In my business I have to interact with the government tax department through net which is made compulsory now.You know well about the online earnings.And sometimes I need the internet to search for something as a timepass and at the same time to learn more.Cheers!

My primary reason was searching some jobs..But I deviated from that and I am working with some scam online sites only..Very rarely I am searching for some jobs.But now,the online earning site became the primary reason , as I am in the middle of the payment in most of the sites.

I found that it is very difficult for ME to make substantial money online. I like myLot because it combines something I love to do...talk...with some easy spending money to indulge my love of books. I plan on using my earnings here at amazon.com! I started out using the internet for social interaction. I joined a bunch of social networks...some that pay. But I found that you have to invest way to much time to make those profitable. Now I use the internet to research blogs and socialize. The few dollars I make doing that is used just for fun.
