Job issues

I am a in home care giver and use to be always on time for work but then my boss use to be always late letting me go he would never pay me for the times he was late so I started being a few mintues late to work and he took 10 dollars off my pay check for this I have done so many things them I clean and care for the person I am caring for really good. I just feel this was so unfair. The person I work for will leave dishes in the sink from the weekend so when I come back to work after having a couple of days off I have piled up laundry and work left over that could of been done during my days off when I have went to work to work early I was exspected to start work right away I love the lady I care for she is a sweet lady but do not feel apperciated by the person who runs the show when I frist start is was good in the begining what is the best advice you can give me on this matter.

I will take your advice but I can not help but feel if they are going to late that I should be paid for my time i put in instead of doc for me doing the same to them so I will not make waves cause I do care for this lady alot

Can you go over his head with out a back lash? I know it's tough working with resentment, but you have to weigh the good from the bad! If you do plan on making a move make sure you have something lined up first so you won't miss a paycheck, But remember the grass is not always greener on the other side of the fence! tdemex

I would address the issue. I would tell them what my problem was and why you were coming in a bit late. I would let them know that if they want to add a few dollars to your check than you have no problem with staying over but if that's not the case then he should be punctual if he expects it from you.

The only thing to do is talk to your boss, believe me finding someone like you to do all you do would be really hard to replace. If you speak up he will probably respect u more. He'll know that you can't be taken advantage of and maybe things will change. You have a hard job, and certainly should be respected and treasured for all you do for this family.

Hello my friend imgrandma12 Ji,
I think first you have to explain all these things with your Boss, if tehre is no change and again your Boss cuts proprtionate earning, you may have to give ultimatum and leave teh job finally. Your Boss must ahve found out some of your weakness and as such Boss does taht way.

please dont work under anybody . try to become outside and starts your own thinking work . because now a days the boss are all having over headweight in all things . because they have large money . Try to achieve more money than your boss . Take it as a victory to achieve from now this minute

write down the times you start every day and the times that you finish when your boss lets you go, then at the end of the week show him how many extra hours you have had to work and tell him you expect to be paid for those hours. also, when he lets you go late, make a point of saying the time so he will realise at that moment you are noting what time you are being let go.
