I have very good reason to believe that Valuebux is turning scam, and continuing to manipulate members out of their hard earned money.
The site was apparently sold to new admin Todd O who also owns taalel.com.
http://www.valuebux.com/forum/index.php/topic,2257.0.html
New admin is having problems paying members because old admin left the site in bad standings http://www.valuebux.com/forum/index.php/topic,2322.msg51541.html#msg51541
Todd's partners/investors are screaming at him they don't want things done this way etc...http://www.valuebux.com/forum/index.php/topic,2322.msg51615.html#msg51615
Site auditor "Melissa" becomes down right abusive to members calling them fowl names, taunting them and basically states she will ban you from the site just because she can, then turns around and says "Let's support Todd he's sticking his neck out for you, if we don't make x amount of sales by x date the partners will not do anymore sales"
Cashout options completely disappeared, members are being given excuse after excuse as to why members can not be paid, yet continually asked to invest in the site, buy referrals upgrade etc.
Todd says he's been receiving death threats and hate mail.
Todd leaves message in the forum that payments will be back up as of August 2nd, 2009.
August 2nd, 2009 comes and this is what is posted in the forum:
Message from Todd about his house getting shot at
http://www.valuebux.com/forum/index.php/topic,1894.msg51683.html#msg51683
Message relayed via another member
http://www.valuebux.com/forum/index.php/topic,2347.msg51695.html#msg51695Today the person making death threats attacked Todd's house, there was shooting back and forth between him and the police but no one was shot. The man who did it is now in the hospital (I don't know exactly why) and Todd & Priscilla are going there later today to check on him. There are bullet holes in the house and broken windows, Todd has some cuts from flying glass but otherwise no other injuries that he reported. He is right now dealing with the insurance agent and calls from the media. He will try to get in here to make a post later today or this evening but right now helping his family through this is priority one.
It was definitely connected to this site, he said he sent the man a nasty pm after receiving the death threats and then banned him, a copy of the pm was in his car.
He asked me to please convey this to everyone in the forum so people would understand why he's not here today. He will get back as soon as things calm down at home. I suspect this is all one big ploy to get supporting members to "feel sorry" for Todd and thus invest money in the site. I feel "Todd and Melissa" have been creating a huge drama set up to get members to feel sorry for them, and sometimes guilty, and then manipulate members out of their hard earned money.
Augst 4th still cashout options are unavailable, and I post this in the forum.
http://www.valuebux.com/forum/index.php/topic,2347.msg52409.html#msg52409Hi Noir,You and I got to know each other via adstab. You might remember me you might not, I'm Michelle. We both defended that site tooth and nail, and sadly it turned out not in our best interest. Well not in mine anyway LOL. I'm glad to see you still have your spirit in you even though you've been through some trials.
Anyhow I am sorry that this has happened to Todd and his family IF indeed it did happen.
The reason I say IF and I mean no disrespect here Todd but I have spent the past 2 hours researching. The address that shows up on your whois report is actually listed on other sites as being up for rent.
The other 3 possibilities as far as city and state that pop up I have searched every news report I could find and of course good old reliable Google and not one news report shows up that could support your story within the past 5 days. I extended the search thinking maybe it happened the 1st of August but Noir says it happened on the second.
I would bet my bottom dollar that if there were an attempted murder as a result of online business or someone being dooped out of money the news would be all over it. I mean there is nothing in any news reports that suggests anything even similar to what you say has happened. I admit I could very well be wrong as I am not perfect in researching things, but I am pretty good at finding almost any information via the net and I seriously hope this isn't some sort of ploy to get those loyal members that support valuebux to keep throwing in their money so that you can later just close shop and run.
If you have any links to a news report, newspaper article or anything that could prove me wrong, and support your story please do post them.
Todd one thing I can say is that since you have taken over the site, your attitude towards members has been very professional and I am thankful that even though you have had to deal with a great amount of rudeness, harassment etc.. from some, you've still managed to remain kind towards the rest. I know running and online business is not easy, especially taking one on that has gone sour.
Melissa You demand respect, you demand that people not even question anything that happens with the site and as soon as they do you threaten to ban them, you taunt with words like "keep on and watch, try me " you call members a$$holes and other foul names, you are down right rude to the members of this site which indeed are the lifeline. Without the members to click the ads, invest their money etc.. the site will die yet you abuse the members and then as if to flip the switch on you suddenly turn to kind words and ask members to invest their money.
What's my point? You want respect, give respect, if you don't want to be abused, don't abuse. Why would anyone want to invest their hard earned money after seeing how you treat the members of the site? In my opinion based on the evidence provided throughout this forum from your posts, you are indeed very unprofessional and rude and I firmly believe that you need to back up and look at things in a different manner. Banning members just because you have the power to do so, could be the death of this site that you are trying to uphold and help Todd keep.
If you ban me because of what I have posted here it only proves my point.
Again I mean no disrespect to anyone and I could be wrong about the whole shooting thing and if I am well I apologize. However Melissa I am not wrong about what I have seen in your behavior, please do reconsider how you treat people it is important to keep the site alive.
I have no doubt my post will be deleted which is why I have chosen to come here and inform others of what I suspect. We need to spread the word and not let anyone else fall victim to these people. Another member also posted his suspicions which are very similar to mine. http://www.valuebux.com/forum/index.php/topic,2362.msg51989.html#msg51989
So what do you think? Do you think they are trying to milk members for their money?
Yes, no, why?
How can we stop this from happening?

I don't think I am in the position to say whether they are really milking members like cows.
Perhaps it is an idea to contact them via mail and vent your concerns. Tell them you can't just leave this unnoticed to others. Ask them for an explanation. Don't hesitate to press them. Even threating you'll seek publicity is thinkable.
In case they completely ignore you mail them again. You're a user and the user is king. Refraining from giving a reaction is like having a restaurant in which you completely ignore your customers and don't serve them. If they complain you completely freak out and exhort them to leave... it's just not done...
If even after that they don't react express your concerns in their forum if applicable. Shouldn't that work either, seek publicity. Post on blogs and anti-scam sites about your experience with valuebux... a genuine company would immediately offer you a comfy seat and look for solutions or attempt to convince you... to save their bottom...

Excellent advice diamania. I did post my thoughts in their forum and no response as of yet, however it was late when I posted it so I'm sure tomorrow my post will be deleted or answered one way or the other.
I agree the user/members are the bloodline to the company and that's the odd thing is that this Melissa person has been treating users like complete trash? Indeed I will make it very public if my suspicions turn out to be correct. I'm tired of these people thinking they can play off the kindness of others and take advantage of them. I had this same thing happen to me before in another site where I and several others had total faith in the admin because he was constantly in contact with us and gaining our trust, and even though we knew the site was on it's last leg we tried to help. Well that site ended up being turned into something else and eventually the admin got his paypal account back but he sure didn't offer to compensate any of the "loyal" members for their loss.
Thank you for your good advice it's truly appreciated.
