is it just in my immediate environment or is everyone eating like everyone else? i mean when you go to a fast food both men and women order the same thing. yet, people are in constant battle with their weight (especially women). men burn more calories, right? and they gain muscle from excess, right? they're more of that unlike women who are more of fat.

Ritchelle, sometimes we just can't help it, as the servings in restaurant seems to be the same for both men and women! However, if you are eating in, you will realised that women tend to eat lesser compare to men. But in a fast food outlet or such, we just have to eat in order to avoid wastage, and then start ranting on the weight increase..

I see many women and men eating the same meals. I think that this is normal in my environment. It has been found that since women now also work like men and they have the same stresses as men that we are losing the hourglass figure and gaining more of the figure like a man so maybe we eat like men. If you don't want a woman to eat like a man and look like a man then let her stay home and you look after her. HEHE

Hi Ritchelle, nice to meet you.. I don't understand that you mean with 'like men'. Do you mean, men are much food? Not all men to eat a lot! I am a man, but I eat less than my wife. My wife and I do not much fat or obese. I think the food is good if appropriate to the needs, not wants. Eating for health, not for fun.

hello, friend. i mean, generally. i see men and women almost ordering the same thing in fast food chains and restaurants. also, if you look at the instant foods that we just add water to and the chips that are sold you would notice that if a man finishes a pack then a woman does too.

That's right. Can not generalize. Sorry, means that your statement is wrong.
