Do you buy cheese when it's on a sale at a really good price? Great Scot has their 8 ounce cheese blocks and bags of shredded cheese on sales 10/$10. This is a very good price since these are regularlly priced at three something. This would be a good time to stock up on cheese.

Stocking up on specials is a great way to make your money go further but does cheese keep for a long time, I know once you open the packs cheese doesn't seem to keep for all that long or maybe there is a special way of storing it.

We throw the cheese into the freezer. The only cheese we keep in the refridgerator is what we can use within a few days.

Oh ok I have never really thought about freezing cheese, but if you can get good specials it all helps in making your money go further, something we all have to do these days.

This week I got my favourite cheese (Cathedral City mature cheddar) on a BOGOF (buy one get one free). I usually grate some and keep it for cooking... quiches; cheese scones etc or just to sprinkle on baked potatoes. I also slice some to save time when we want to grab a quick sandwich.
