Hi all,
One of my very favourite films to laugh about is Home Alone One and Two. I still
watch this when I can.
Which was your favourite scene from the Film? Did you like it or detest the Film altogether? Personally I loved it.
All comments and discussions are welcome from everywhere.

Ten years back, i am alone watching the TV, i don't know that there it was the movie of Ghosts. Then the fear starts, although i was saw the half of the movie, by sitting constantly like a statue in the chair. After some time my parents came, then i was be normal...

Hiya ramesh,
When you were at Home Alone you were watching another Ghost Movie or this one? Which one frightened you then "Home Alone" the thought of being home alone scared you because you thought it was scary then?
Yes it does have that sort of theme in a way.
Good job your Parents got back to see you were okay then and you alright after that.

Hiya rameschow,
I can see what you mean about the Film itself it can seem spooky being on you own in the House and no one around then you start to feel scary.
Being on your own in a House and being the age you were then could make it seem even worse too. I know the feeling as well.
So now you have a special person watching a Film like that won´t seem like anything at all will it? Have a great time then.

Didn't they do four Home Alone Films? I only saw the first two and I know another actor took over from Macauley Culkin, and it wasn't the same without him! It was a shame he didn't do the other two films, maybe he had or his parents had other projects to work on or they had other ideas. The best scene has got to be with that spider loose! They are ideal Christmas movies! I never get tired of watching them, the first two that is.

Well one of my favortie scenes from the first one is just a really short, cute look from Kevin. I like when he first wakes up and everyone is gone...and when he runs out ot check the garage, he says "The cars are still here they didn't go to the airport." And he just does this really funny, cute, shocked face look :P It always makes me laugh.
One of my favorite scenes in the second movie is when the tall burglar's (or was it the short one...) hair is on fire, and he head dives into the toilet...and then it zooms outside the building and there's an explosion! LOL. Made me laugh really hard. Another part is when the tall burglar is getting electrocuted and he turns into a skeleton at one point lol.

I thought it might be the shorter one that "blows up" in the second one because he gets a blow torch to the head in the first one. The same things happen to them in both movies! lol
Thanks for the best response :D

Hi Lily,
It´s the shorter guy Joe Pesci who is really quite funny in other Films too but he makes a good kind of Laurel and Hardy type with Daniel Stern who I have not seen in any other Comedy as yet.
One of my favourite scenes that too.
I also like the Daniel Stern when Kevin takes a photo of him and he asks the other one is my hair combed nicely? lol.
Joe Pesci and Daniel Stern have been really good in the two Films maybe they will work together another time. Hope so anyway.
Take care.

Hello Lovin Angels instead :)
I also loved the first 2 movies and I haven't seen them in a while from various reasons but this is good as that means i will forget some of the jokes and that will make them funnier again :).
I of course enjoy the mini scene in H.A. 2 where the kid touches a lady's behind and blames it on the thugs as well as the throwing briks scene.
In the first movie I love the whole "invasion" as there were many scenes to laugh at.

Hiya elitess,
This year I have been very lucky as I have been able to record the first Film of "Home Alone" in Dvd.
I had got it in Video before.
So I consider that very lucky as this Film has not been shown for as long as I can remember ages and ages it was on and since then nothing at all.
Oh yes there are so many funny scenes you are right you can get to forget some of them when you don´t see the Film for a long time.
What a beautiful house they filmed it in by the way I would not mind having a house like that.
Glad you liked all the Films and Mel. Gibson too.xxx

Hi bunnybon7,Where Daniel Stern or (Harve) is that his name in the Film? See when I see this Film it´s always in Spanish so his name does not come across clearly. Anyway when he falls down the stairs he is really funny because you know that that kind of ice hot water frozen over is lethal to anyone and it never fails to make me laugh over and over.
I also love the other one part two where he is crawling on the floor covered with flour and paint and shaking from the electric shock. We really need to laugh a lot more. I have to buy this Dvd in English as I love Christmas and this brings it all back to me even though I´m English born from Wolverhampton Staffs. Love this Film to bits.

Hiya sunny,
I don´t get tired of watching those end parts either or any other part of the two Films. I think that they compliment each other very well and were equally as funny also.
The comedy setup was natural and funny things that almost everyone would laugh at.
Another one of my favourite scenes was where he trod on those Christmas Ornaments that were broken on the Floor because they really do hurt a lot if you get one in the bottom of your foot ouch.

I thought this movie was hilarious. I liked the part where the guy starts climbing the stairs and he is hit in the head with a bucket of hot tar.
I wished I could figure out how to set boobie traps the way that little kid did.
Then again, I liked a lot of scenes from that movie. The scene where he is shaving and then puts the after shave on and screams because it burns, was really cute.
Also, the scene where he plays the film on the tv where the guy does some talking and then fires a few rounds of bullets is hilarious as well.
Thanks for reminding me of this movie, I got a big kick out of it.

Hi Kykidd,
That was a very quick answer I´ve just pressed the key word tag thing lol. Oh yes I know which one you mean where the pizza lad thought he was hearing a real conversation that was really funny. I would not have liked to have been that Pizza lad at all.
I loved the scene where Daniel Stern slipped down the icy stairs and all the noises he made he was really good in this Film. Like Joe Pesci too but Daniel Stern was a real scream.
Thanks for your reply.
Regards.

Hiya Wizzy,
Well I too knew that it was predictable but you could not help but laugh at it. At least me on my part anyway. I thought most of them were funny in particular Tim Curry and the other Woman Receptionist and also the Birdlady. Daniel Stern was a scream when he got "shocks" and then after he was crawling on the floor all floured up to go with it. Then when they got Birdseeded up the two of them and they looked like those things you put in a BirdsCage.

Oh yes, my wife and I are fans of
'Home Alone' be it 1 or 2...we love them all!
I like that part when the bad guys planned to enter the house.
The hero (small boy) planned a strategy to scare them off. He
used the shadow play and the video conversation and shootings
scene to confuse and scare them off. The chasing, 'cat and mouse'
scene is great and hilarious. We watch them again and again, yet
we still managed to laugh everytime!

Hi James,
Yes I really liked this strategy too it was funny to follow and see what would happen.
This Film can make you feel like you are small again and just think if the same thing could happen to you or you with your Friends.
Also love the Christmas theme I love Christmas trees so you get to see plenty of those and also New York.
Thought the Toy Shop in Home Alone was brilliant it probably might exist but with another name but I really don´t know anyway Home Alone is really enjoyable at anytime to watch.

yes..i loved to watch this movie.not only one, but all the series.i think among these four series of home and alone, the first and second series are the best.with a kid as the main character, making funny with people with bigger size than him.that's really fun you know...

Hi ajai88,Thank you very much for your response have to agree with you Home Alone One And Two are the best parts. Later on it got a bit watered down in the other Films and was good but not as funny.
One of my favourites apart from Macaulay is Tim Curry The Head of the Reception and the lady also I think she´s called Brenda Fricker she´s very funny in this film in the second one I mean and also Tim Curry apart from all the main characters. I also liked the Lady with the Pigeons.
Liked most of the slapstick comedy bits all throughout original and they have not been able to pass it on to other last films what a shame.
Again thanks for your participation much appreciated.
Have a great Summer all.
Regards.
