"______ on a stick" ?

The big thing at all the fairs and such are the choices of "______ on a stick" (usually deep fried!) you've got cheesecake, snickers bars, milkyway bars, Mac'n Cheese (don't ask me how that pans out or the next one), s'mores, Oreo's, twinkies, cheese are all that I can think of.....
but this year I guess there's a new hit.....

What do you think? I think someone really had nothing else better to do with their time on that one? & the inventors of bacon flavored lip balm ect probably will want to add that to their line up.
Have you ever had one of these oddities "on a stick"? I was hoping to today but hubby was sooo far infront of me it was hard keeping up with the crowds to yell to him.

i'll pass..meat and chocolate..i don't know..
just sounds like heart attack helper to me..
the weirdest thing i think i've seen on a stick was tequila lollipops.
WITH a worm.oh,yuck.

I've seen those at Mexican markets or at a flea market booth that sells Mexican candy. Yeah... never had one of those & I'm not planning on it.

I've heard about this stuff to! The chocolate covered bacon is probaly the weidest thing I've heard them come up with! It sounds likes something the Wisconsin State fair would come up with! Just like Wisconsin,period! This is the home of also the cheese heads and the the racing sausages! I love Wisconsin!

Don't forget they have racing pigs too @ the fair. However, hubby says in AZ they have Ostrich races? or rodeo's?

What you guys eat at the fair and what we eat at the fair are really, really different. We get fried bread dough, sausage with onions as well as green peppers, hot dogs, hamburgers, blooming onions (deep fried onions), carnival corn (popcorn that has carmel/caramel drizzled over it), Caramel and candied apples,lemonaide, that kind of stuff. Chocolate isn't served that much because it's hot and unless they devoted cooler space to it, it would be melted in the kiosk windows before we even got to buy it. We do have ice cream because this is dairy country and that is kept in coolers, so there might be some chocolate there. Our big thing here is fried foods at the fair. Our Drs. don't want us eating fried, so peole like to eat stuff that they don't usually get or make.

Chocolate covered bacon sounds so gross, but hubby would probably love it... he loves anything that has to do with bacon.
2 years ago we did try a deep fried candy bar. I was leary at first, not sure what to expect. Man o man was it ever good!! We got another one last year, and then we even made some at home awhile back. Deep fried candy bar is now on my list of things to have whenever we're at the fair! Ours is coming up in a couple weeks, I can't wait!
