If a woman had HIV or AIDS and had a habit of just having babies and not caring for them afterwards.. to the point that they know they are sick yet get pregnant and dont take the medication to prevent it from passing on.. do you think they shouldnt be allowed to have kids? now im not saying people that are sick shouldnt have kids but there are some medications you can take to keep from passing it on to your baby and to me if you are just popping out one kid after another and NOT trying to keep the babies safe and dont care for them afterwards i kind of wonder if they should have the right to have kids.. i mean kids should be a privilege not a right.. they are gifts and should be first priority not just something you just collect and not care for.. this probably sounds harsh but i know there is some countries sterilizing women with HIV and if they are responsible and good people and would take the meds to keep the baby safe i think it would be wrong from taking that from them.. but if they just have kids by the dozen and then like dont take care of them and abandon them and spread this disease i think is horrible.. what do you think?

I'm not too popular sometimes, but why stop with HIV and AIDS? Why should a person beable to have 6 or 9 kids and live off welfare? What of these moms that are a bit light upstairs that didn't even know they were pregenant to begin with. How about those who abuse one of their children, have them taken away and then continue to give brith to more of them? I know what you're saying becuase it's like saying for the love of God, where is the common sense; BUT when you go in and start manipulate the public for their own good......I see a different picture. I don't think that anyone or any country should have that much control over a population. I don't have any answers here. It's not a simple problem. But I would shutter at the control over people to be able to know who should and shouldn't reproduce.

yeah its like i dont agree it should be mandantory but the people that abuse it and their kids etc to where they are just doing harm it makes me wonder.. but a lot of the poorer countries the married women get HIV from their hubbys sleeping around so it is so unfair to think of them as the same as the people that just pop them out and run off.. i guess its just one of those things that not one answer will fit all

i dont think so.. non-caring mothers are everywhere, so i reckon they should not be sterilized so they cant have baby, only because of assumptions that they wont be able to take care of the babies..

no im more talking about women that have had a history of having kids and being neglectful or abusive to the point that the authorities have had to actually take away their kids so there is obviously a pattern of them not caring

Heck , that's child abuse before the child is even born. I'd have to say yes. Sterilize them. The last thing we need is MORE people in the world ( especially diseased ones ) anyways.
