I just watch the news tonight that according to groups from the investigative journalism reports, the wealth of the President had increased I was referring to his Assets and Liabilities. and it came from the stocks that they had but the problem is it's either they didn't know or they didn't wanna tell any one where they got their money from. First, the controversial Expensive $20,000 (1,000,000) Philippine Peso.... that took place in United States, which was treated by a Government Official who is a Nephew of the Marcoses. Don't worry, she'll vulnerable once she stepped down. she can either go to U.S. and escape or answer all of her allegations regarding corruption.if she would defend herself, that is....

Why do you think politicians are fighting hard to be elected and chosen to be president of a country? Do you think they are sincere in wanting to improve the welfare of the citizens, to improve the economic situation of the country. That is absurd. It is a chance of a lifetime to be elected and sit on the hot chair of the president. During her tenure as the president she would not let opportunities pass by without enriching herself and her cronies. I think anybody would do likewise - corruption, if given the chance of being the no. 1 in the country. Anyone is a fool if ever they become a president and ends up poor after they step down. Corruption is an age old disease which can be easily settled with money. Why worry she has all the ill gotten money to hire the most brilliant lawyers around to fight in the court of law. It will take years to battle it out which normally only give light sentence compared to the crime committed if ever proven guilty. You must remember lawyers are good at making the guilty innocent. So it is only the one up there to give the final judgment.

Well do they have another Ferdinand and Imelda Marcos in the Phillipines - back when they were in power the annual salary was around $5,000 but they managed to spend millions on real estate and it would have taken a lifetime on that salary to pay for all her shoes. Like Marcos it will catch up with them eventually.

I have watch the news. It's the Congressman who treated the President to this expensive dinner but some said that the dinner wasn't as good. like the Senator Lito Lapid who has no experience eating in a foreign restaurant. he probably misses pinoy food and threw up after eating french food.

I am not whether the news is true or not because i didn't see any substantial evidence in the news. i need to see it first before i can judge it. but the dinner is something that other's can't really deny or believed to be false, it's really an embarrassment for the country because she's eaten in a expensive restaurant while people are starving.

this news doesn't really surprise me as we all know that most officials who are actually in the position are always getting richer.
