the calm before the next storm....

Well storms came through again last night... and 66K are still without power this morning. According to our news there are more storms coming through this afternoon. Luckily we are ones with power...but that doesnt mean that we will make it through the day!!!! How was your night last night?? Did you miss the storms?? Was it to hot to sleep or was it a nice night for you?? this picture is of one of the many lightning strikes....I didnt take this picture is from one of our local news stations.

I'm glad that youall survived the storms without any problems. We didn't have any rain last night that I know of. It was a pretty nice night, I guess you would say. I got up this morning to let my dog go outside for a little while and the sidewalks looked a little wet. I guess we did have a little rain early this morning. I like rain, myself, but I don't like thunderstorms, especially tornado weather, which we're prone to get a lot of in the spring. Kathy.

I am glad that we didnt get the worst of it as well... my parents area and my aunts area got hit pretty hard. I am also very happy that we didnt get the storms they were calling for last night... I dont think it would have helped us any since the ground really cant take any more rain.... we already have some flooding in the surrounding areas. a little rain is nice and usually brings cooler temps behind it...not this system... we are hot and muggy all week. thanks for the response, stay dry and have a great day!
