Children are very inquisitive and want to know everything and keep asking questions every now and then, Especially when we watch a movie in a cinema hall or at home, or when we have some guest at home or when we are on a visit to a friends' place. During one such visit to a friends house, their child was too inquisitive to know about a product used for family planning, which was shown in the television as a commercial, the parents felt really embarassed in front of us and tried to deviate the attention of the child, but it was of no use and he was getting more adamant to know about it. Finally they had to lie about it to him to make him cool. Have you ever undergone this situation with your child or any other child in the famiily? What was your reaction?

They had to lie????? What is the old saying? If they can ask, tell them the truth. If they are too young, they will change the subject if it takes alot of thinking to understand. Get specific and technical.Put the science in there. So now that you know this can happen, take some time and be prepared. Hmmm? What questions could be asked and what could I say. Out think them while you can. They grow up oh so fast!!!
