GOP Cat Fight On the Horizon?

This was included in Meghan McCain's recent Daily Beast entry: "Michelle Malkin, the conservative pundit and author of the recent book Culture of Corruption: Obama and His Team of Tax Cheats, Crooks, and Cronies, was asked during a live chat on Politico’s The Arena on Friday which conservative political figure or commentator needs to shut up. Guess who her answer was? Yeah, that’s right—yours truly. If people like Michelle Malkin and Ann Coulter think they can bully me into giving up this fight and what I am doing, they are going to be severely disappointed." http://www.thedailybeast.com/blogs-and-stories/2009-08-10/my-war-with-michelle-malkin/ It sure does seem like some of the most high profile, far right female conservatives have been doing a lot of attacking of Meghan McCain, daughter of GOP Presidential nominee Senator John McCain. Exactly what are they afraid of? I'm no Republican and I disagree with much of what Meghan says on various issues but I like the way she says it and I'M the one who maybe should be afraid of the impact she may have on young people who are on the fence politically! However, I feel confident that some of the other women of the GOP will do more to drive moderate, reasonable people like Meghan McCain if they continue with the nastiness. Michelle Malkin thinks Meghan should "shut up" and there should be less of her and Laura Ingraham goes so far as to attack her weight and call her a "Valley Girl"! Anyway, in my opinion in a debate or a fight between Meghan McCain on one side and Ann Coulter, Laura Ingraham, Michelle Malkin and let's throw in Sarah Palin on the other side my money is on Meghan. YOU GO GIRL! Annie

LOL I agree. I do not believe that any of them know how much their hatefulness turns off Independents. I can't imagine telling another adult to shut up. I know when I am having a heated debated with another adult in real life (outside of the internet) I have asked them if they are going to let me speak or just keep repeating themselves until I agree LOL Meghan is right they drive off the center people with all the childish behavoir. Sad that they are to ignorant to see what they do to their own party.

No, I don't believe it. Provide a link from a reliable source, that means something that isn't a tabloid.

Lets start first by applying the correct title to your thread, "two conservative leaning women on verge of public spat (or cat fight if you prefer)" So, neither of these two are public officials, niether are elected to office, running for office or even work for the government. What we have is a journalist and the daughter of a Senator, this is NOT a "gop" cat fight, it is a cat fight between to idealogicly different conservative, well known private citizens. I can't see any other purpose for the title you chose other than basic partisan propaganda and conditioning. Your smarter than that annie. My god, you even dropped the Palin bomb in here, HAD to do that didn't you, couldn't go a few days with out your fix? Such a shame. I am considering an intervention, expect me and a whole shytte load of your friends in your living room tonight, we are getting quite concerned about this.

"Conservative LEANING"...LOL? Michelle Malkin certainly isn't conservative leaning, she's as far right as they get from what I've heard of her. Meghan McCain is a Republican by her own words but she's not conservative on social issues at least. I think I already said I felt compelled to include Palin since figured her minions would be mad if I left her out of a discussion about high-profile Republican/conservative women. Annie

These women are just as much spokes persons as is Rush, the Conservative idol. Annie's remarks are not a problem to me. Just typical.

"It sure does seem like some of the most high profile, far right female conservatives have been doing a lot of attacking of Meghan McCain" Now to be honest, I generally ignore the petty bickering between them all. However, you're not being honest by implying that they are simply attacking her. Meghan McCain started all this. She's been attacking conservatives right and left and often fails to explain what they're wrong about and why they're wrong. She attacked Ann Coulter, who oddly enough chose not to respond. Then Laura Ingraham (who I can't stand) apparently attacked McCain with some childish "valley girl" and "plus sized model" comparisons. I never listen to Michelle Malkin so I honestly have no idea where she figured into the junior high cat fight. My point is that you are cheering on Meghan McCain because she's attacking the people you don't like. You are acting as though she's innocent and these women targeted her when it's really a back and forth and she is NOT a victim. I know your obsession with Palin demands you include her in your rant, but I've never seen her say a word about Meghan McCain or vice versa.

I only added Palin to the mix because I knew you guys who have a crush on her would be livid if I mentioned powerful conservative women and left her out. Malkin's in there since she's the one who said she wishes Meghan would shut up. I could be wrong, but I was thinking Coulter had said something about her awhile back. Annie

My favorite quote of the day. Malkin has the No. 1 book on The New York Times bestseller hardcover nonfiction list, but I have nearly twice as many Twitter followers as she does. ~ Mehgan McCain ~ Ah ..... Mehgan, just one major twit!
