More Earnings Increases or Decreases?

I have noticed a lot of people saying that they are used to seeing decreases in their earnings chart, as they often times participate in discussions that are deleted. It seems to me that my earnings INCREASE for days past, not decrease. For example, I have seen pay increases of sometimes as much as ten cents for activity maybe 3 or 4 days ago! I like seeing that-when one day I check the payment, and it may $1.56 and then later on in the week, I see that daily amount went up to $1.62! How often does this happen to you? Are decreases more common than increases, or do people just not talk about the increases?

I think it is part of human nature to complain about things more often than inform when thing are right and that is why there are more complaints about decreases than queries about increase.
Here is what myLot tell us:
'During the recalculation of earnings some users with lower-quality contributions will see a decrease. Any money deducted from users due to our abuse and moderation processes is then reallocated to myLot users based on certain qualitative factors. Due to this, earnings will fluctuate'

When you think that we are here having fun talking about almost anything at all, ANY amount we earn is in my opinion a lot

It seems to be very true that the complaints will arise over the good points. (We all see that often-at work, we are rarely praised for our good job, but we are sure made aware when we aren't doing something right!) Thank you very much for reposting that specific guideline. That explains a lot in itself, and I guess if people read the rules, they would know why they were losing earnings.

Oh yes the atmosphere at work is more often filled with complaints than anything else.
We only ever see 'complaints desk' everywhere and never anywhere to go and tell anyone that we are happy about a particular service we received. Says a lot for human nature

It does say a lot about people-they are never happy! Well, I thought I would share my good news, and I am sure I am not the only one who sees increases added a later time. I just wanted to see how common it was. It shows off that our hard work continues to pay off, and that feeling is a good one. ; )

I think the earnings fluctuate some how i forgot how it was explained. but you would quickly know if your mylot decrease badly if a response, discussion or specially if a user is deleted or canceled. that's one thing i try to avoid personally. i don't want my earnings decreasing.

Yes, it happens when disucssions get deleted. I had a discussion deleted yesterday and my profits show as I only earned 15 centes yesterdat, when I have earned as much 2 dollars in one day. But yesterday I wasn't very active either-I had a lot going on. Avoiding bad topics that you can assume will get deleted is a good point though.

I have noticed both positive and negative changes in my earnings, but they have been so minimal, that it's not worth worrying about.

I don't see much faluctuation throughout the day, but I will notice it in the morning when my earnings get updated that sometimes other day's earnings have gone up too. I love when that happens. LOL And thank you-today is much better and I am enjoying my morning.

But my question was do your earnings fluctuate, in either direction at all? We can all cearly see what we earn daily. It's a matter of noticing any changes if there are any.

I'm new to MyLot. I will keep an eye on my earnings and let you know. Although the other day, I could've sworn in the morning my earnings said $0.34 and then later on in the day it said $0.32, but I'm not certain.

It happens quite often, actually-the fluctuation of earnings can go either positive or negative. Sometimes it's hard to tell if you lose money when the earnings are updated daily. I think I am going to keep a log of my daily earnings, and then I will be able to see day to day if anything has been added or subtracted.
