Do you always send or request perfume samples? I have been doing this for awhile now because I notice when I buy a perfume, the regular bottle size it loses it's potency before I use it up....I just don't wear perfume that often. So I notice I get away with all the samples I receive. And I figure if I come across one I like I will definitely buy it.
How about you guys?

Well taface412, you are lucky, because in USA they give you samples of all things. In India they never give any samples, and even if some companies give samples, the greedy sales men and girls either sell it or give it to their friends or relatives. The maximum samples we get is some useless health biscuits or some health drink which some body gives in the super market.
Well that is life.

I love getting perfume samples. Let's face it, I love getting all types of samples. I can't stand buying a full size bottle of perfume at the store and then realizing that I really didn't like it. What a waste of money. So now I don't buy perfume anymore unless I have tried it out for a while with a free sample.

Actually, no. I really like only one perfume mostly and always buy the same one. It does not lose its potency even after I've had it for months and months. I probably go through a bottle in about 6 months, but I do wear it almost daily. It's still as strong today, near the bottom of the bottle, as it was when I first purchased it at the beginning of this year. Do you keep the lid on your perfume? I don't know if that would have anything to do with it losing potency for you...?

I've never actually requested a perfume sample but a few of the men's magazines I thumb through have a sample strip in them. I don't wear that much cologne so it would just sit there and make the bottle smell good.

Yes, I like to request samples. You get enough of them, you don't have to purchase any. But like what has been said, it is nice to sample just in case you like one or you get a lot of compliments before you actually buy.
The ones in the magazines don't have enough scent to try, I think. Those are good sniffers, however, but not enough to wear and see how it blends with your skin.

I request perfume samples when I get the opportunity, I always like to try it out before spending 60 or 70 bucks on a huge bottle of perfume. I test out how long it lasts and the scent.. and see what compliments I get from wearing it.
