Soaps & Body Washes: What do you use?

Some target their market at men, while others target theirs at females. So, do you use soap or body wash? What type do you use? Do you care if what you are using is targeted with the opposite gender in mind?
I use Axe, I can't remember which style though... Green slime looking and smells remnantly of citrus. I generally use only blue and green products because I am allergic to most red dyes as well as methyl and parabens. I've discovered that most of the products aimed towards men contain less of all of these vs. those products marketed to females.

I use bar soap. I don't care for body wash because it's too hard to work up a lather with a washcloth and I don't like to use anything else. I think bar soap is cheaper, too, although I buy some that's rather expensive because my skin is sensitive.

Yeah they are quite hard to lather up with washcloths, but I think that they are generally intended to be used with a poof (oh lord, idk what they call them lol) or a body sponge, but if you have seriously sensitive skin neither of those would be good for you I wouldn't think :/

I grew up using bars of soap but now my husband has gotten me into using only body wash. I really like it though because it suds up so well! Plus you don't have the mess to clean up from the soap in the shower/bathtub.
My favorite body wash to use is Dove. My husband and I can both use it, which is nice. Plus it's really moisturizing!

I mainly use soap but I like body washes as well. I have to use "Dove" because I have such a sensitive skin. I tend to break out easily and a dermatologist I went to years ago recommended Dove. Every dermatologist I have been to since then is happy that I use Dove. No, I don't mind if it's targeted with the opposite gender in mind. As long as it smells good, doesn't break me out, and gets me clean is what's important Kathy.

I like using Dove body wash. Sometime's I get the cheaper mousturizing body wash's but they are not as good. I dont care for all of the mess that soap leaves behind. It just take's to long to clean up the mess, so to me its better to buy the body wash.
