Help Vista! How do I default display the Date Modified on Windows Explorer?

i am having problem displaying the 'date modified' column in the vista windows explorer using the detailed view. i want it to be 'Automatic' every time i go to detailed view on windows explorer. its important for me to display the 'date modified' column to see newly downloaded files on my folder. is there any way better to make windows explorer display it every time i open a folder? thanks!
