Can mylot friends become true friends?

Honestly, anything is possible and I'm trying to convince myself that it could happen to any of us. I sent out a few friendship offers and received a few positive responses. But I'm hopeful that there could be a strong bonding of two like-minded people here which could lead to a pronounced friendship. I'm keeping my fingers crossed. And you?

it will be so nice if we`ll be able to make real friends on mylot . It will be nice to say after some years, you know, we met on mylot, and now we`re true friends .
It`s hard to find that kind of person , but not impossible, because here, we`ll say all our problems and so on , and if someone will answer you on the post everyy time, and you`ll do the same, that means that it`s possible to make a real friend in the future. Don`t you think so ?

It can, why not? but most of the time the initiative for a life-long friendship starts from you.
You just don't cross your fingers you build it.

it could be a start... why not. 
over the period of my stay in mylot, i have come across several mylotters whom i have exchanged pm with and been pretty close for a time that the communication went beyond mylot. shared interests and shared experiences are like adhesives... they bond people together. hehe
i believe friends are strangers before they meet. it's up to us how we nurture the relationship we have with people we meet and people around us.

i'm still regularly in contact with about 5 or 6 mylotters in ym and occasionally share info on other sites as well. on a regular basis, i'm still keeping in touch with about 3 of them almost everyday, if not thru ym then thru texting or sometimes we talk on the phone. it's not necessarily a small group, since i'm the only common thing between them. they have different interests that would otherwise make them poles apart in terms of personalities. (so they don't really know each other even in mylot. hehehe) i just seem to fit in with most people because i take an interest in several different areas as well.

What happened to your initiative and the communication between the group? I think you should have continued with the group and developed a strong elationship. You nver know, things can happen just like that. I wish that I get the chance to build a strong friendship here with a few.

I have at least ten true friends on mylot who have given me
their email addresses and welcomed me back after I had been
gone for 9 months due to some big disasters in my son and my'
life.they are there for me and me for them. you caN become
true friends here,it just takes a little time is all.
