No more discussions about violations

I came across one discussion where the Original Poster (OP) is expressing his dislikes with one member. The topic discusses how the member is posting the other way it should be. That the member is some kinda spamming with his responses or comments.
The problem I saw upon the discussion I am telling about, is that the OP is being attacked now, by some other members.
I know I shouldn't be discussing this one. But I know we all have our own opinions about abuses. And talking it in discussions will probably put us on fire.
I just want to suggest, that if we encounter any abuses or violations, maybe we can just directly report it. Thereby, we can get off from being critized by other members.
Just a suggestion.

What is more o suggest if the suggestion itself is banging through the responses already. I know what i said, but simply criticism will always be there if a discussion is found insulting to them. it's ok for me, but i don't think mylot forbid me not do it again. i might stay off from it for a while but next time i will just probably report it.

care. would not one stop a bully from beating up

As I said it, it's just my suggestion and nothing and no one can stop anyone from posting about anything, right? It's just that I don't want to see flames happening elsewhere.

I agree, we should all be allowed to express our own opinions freely without being flamed or insulted by other users. We all have our own opinions about things, everyone is different.

there are times that even if we don't want to post things like this, we can't stop ourselves. if they don't want the topic, then they can just leave and go on with the next discussion. let's stop flaming others. let's all have FUN on here. so have you been insulted here or being placed on fire?

I saw the discussion that has caused you to post this.
If I see a violation I report it and sometimes, but not always, Ipoint out the violation to the user who may not be aware. I do not flame as there is no point at all both for those involved in the discussion and others who might be reading later.
Flaming is not FUB, ever!

yes mysd, flaming is not FUN. i can always remember your discussion about this word.
and you know what i hate with that discussion, we came all from the same place. i just don't want to see people trying to put down each other, when they should be helping one another.

Most of us indeed do help but sadly one bad apple turns things sour for a while

hi neildc I think I know just what you mean but'that
member was really flaming the other poster, and'
doing it knowing he was breaking all the rules.One
of us did report him, but the abuse was so vile
I for one just could not keep from telling thie
person that he was breaking all the mylot rules'and
acting like a jacka##.I know that I and some others
should have just reported this but why critize the '
people who dislike the flaming.is that not hypocritical?

I'm not at any point criticized anyone here or on this discussion, if that's what you mean. I just thought that if we just stop complaining about that abuses and report it instead. As I mentioned, this is just my suggestion and I can't stop anybody from telling everyone in their discussion about anyone. Just try to put off the fire.

Hi neildc! Yes, I agree with you. Actually, that's what I'm trying to do here in mylot. To play it safe. I never attack anyone though I see the user making a violation. Neither that I engage myself in discussions that might turn into a bad debate. I always try to be respectful to everyone here. I don't try pick on someone and start creating a fire.
I think everyone must learn that sometimes, we have to mind our business to stay happy here in mylot.

i really want to do that too, and i thought of not started this one, for there are others who are just looking for holes in every member, just playing safe. but i can't take it anymore. what annoys me with that user is, we are all Filipinos, and I hate to see our "kababayaans" attacking other "kababayaan".

Oh I see.. I didn't see the discussion about it so I cannot judge. But maybe you can try to PM the guy to sort of stop the picking on the other kababayan.
In any way, it is not right to attack someone of the same race. We should try to help each other here.

There has been discussion that that been going around and making this site seems bad, these people who goes round abusing other people should get a life or move on to somewhere else, instead of picking an agrument, I agree with you. Hugs.

I totally agree that the best thing is to report it. Because bringing up a discussion about it and talking about it amongst other people really won't resolve anything and whatever the matter is is still going to continue instead of go away.

you are absolutely right neil, it's not right to be criticized by other members for giving an opinion to a topic.. we have different opinions or suggestions to a one discussion, so if ever it will happen again in here, maybe they need to be sorry for acting like that to a member.. the easiest way to do if ever we can encounter like that here in myLot, we can just report it directly to the admin and maybe they can find a solution with this problem..
