This weekend was a fun filled adventure for my family. We went to Grants farm. http://www.grantsfarm.com/ We visited the Clydesdale horses, rode a tram, walked through a petting zoo. Yesterday we went to our zoo. They have a wonderful attraction available until Sept. It's a stingray exhibit. We got to touch these wonderful creatures. They feel like gliding wet silk. Wonderful memories were made this weekend. And we are still a bit tired. Even though we went to bed early. WHen was the last time you went non stop with family activities?

Besides moving non-stop for almost all weekend. It has been a very long time since the family got together and did that sort of stuff. Me and little sis does stuff but not as a whole family do we still do stuff. I am hoping though that for the Apple Day Festival end of September, first few days of October..that we well be able to have fun and spend the weekend having fun riding rides, eating food thats bad for us,watching concerts, eating more bad food for us..and watching the parade. It will be little sis's first Apple Day Festival since my step dad always said she was to young for it even though they had kiddie rides for 6 months and up...he is just being a tight wad and hubby said this year he will pay for her to go..so I am crossing my fingers and hoping his work holds out and he can do so. Cause she will love it..

Sounds like you have a very full and exciting weekend. Once, I took my family to the Bush brewery in St. Louis, but that was some time ago now. They had Clydesdales there, which my family all oohed and aahed at appropriately.
In my family, we appreciate weekend excursions. I don't always get to do every little thing in town, but we try to catch some of the highlights. As I recall, my father and mother managed to take my niece and nephew to Grant's Farm. As I recall, the trip was fun for them as well.

Sounds like you had a great time. Don't remember the last time we went non-stop. This summer the kids have been going different directions, that's what happens when they get to be teenagers.
We visited Grant's Farm several times when the kids were young. Their grandparents' lived in area at the time. They always enjoyed feeding the animals.

Yesterday! We went to Seabreeze amusement park. There's a water park and a bunch of roller coasters and stuff. We got there just before noon, and didn't leave till 10pm.
