How can I Deal with Noisy Squatters?

We have a problem dealing with family 'squatters' who's always having party at night and we can hear their laugh from our room. They invite many visitors that park their jeepneys in front of our house. I'm not that assertive type because I don't want to have confrontations. I always think if I confront them, they might make trouble. Actually they are those kind of people who's hostile. I'm afraid they might do something bad to my family. Actually they are residing in a government owned lot but I'm not sure if one of the family there has the right for settlement or a caretaker. I just noticed more families adding up to squatter there. What do you think is best in handling this type of people? thanks help is deeply appreciated.
